Extraction

Our e&e extraction plants are used for the recovery of natural extracts, essential oils, oleoresins, colorings, aromas and extractive substances. Our extraction technologies are designed for multiple purposes, and can be used to produce a number of different products from a single system.

Freeze Drying

SPX's e&e freeze drying plants are used for drying frozen granulates or liquid concentrates; they are used for drying products for the food and pharmaceutical industry. Freeze drying applications cover liquids and solids with the complete process carried out in a single unit.

For solids freeze drying, SPX are able to offer one of the largest vacuum belt dryer available in the market place - delivering a high capacity, exceptionally gentle drying process. Design and fabrication is supplied in accordance with GMP, FDA and 3A standards, ensuring quality and hygiene are to the highest standards.

e&e Vacuum Belt Drying Plants

e&e vacuum belt drying plants are designed for the continuous charging of liquid or solid products. Vacuum belt drying can be regarded as one of the most economical and gentle drying methods. Due to the vacuum, very low water evaporation temperatures can be achieved. Aroma, product colour and bulk density can specifically be influenced by the process.

Evaporation Systems

Evaporation is used to separate a liquid from a solid.
