YoNaturals Increases Presence In Idaho Vended Food Market

DBR Staff Writer Published 14 March 2010

YoNaturals has said that its new food and beverage vending machines have debuted this month in Ambrose School, Idaho Arts Charter School and Dance Arts Academy, all located in Meridian. This adds to recent expansion by YoNaturals in Boise and other communities of the Snake River Valley.

The company said that it will offer startup support to local vendors along with around 600 reduced fat, salt and sugar vending entrees such as Clif Bar, Pirate's Booty, Stacy's Pita Chips, Horizon Organic milk and Apple & Eve's FizzEd juices.

The company added that after expanding its presence in schools, hospitals, health clubs and business offices, it is now planning to introduce its own lower-priced, private label snack brands.

Jolly Backer, general manager of YoNaturals, said: There's been a societal sea change in attitudes toward nutrition across the country. And we're finding that being the recognized healthy vending leader is a very advantageous position -- even in backwoods Idaho.

Mr Backer notes that the company's nationwide distribution system now reaches major urban markets and in a few years, has become able to service demand from any area of the country.
