Developed for grocery, convenience and forecourt stores wanting to maximize retail space and build fresh coffee and tea business
Westomatic Vending Services, UK-based vending machine manufacturer has launched two new self-service hot beverage vending systems specifically developed for grocery, convenience and forecourt stores wanting to maximize retail space and build fresh coffee and tea business.
The Prelude Coffee Tower reportedly consists of a ‘Urban Red’ hot beverage vending machine, housed in a space saving unit and the Coffee2go Sigma hot beverage system is a red freestanding hot beverage vending machine. The company claims that both the machines produce coffee from ground beans, including frothy cappuccino, latte and punchy espresso.
According to the company, occupying under 1 metre square of floor space, Westomatic’s Prelude Coffee Tower and Coffee2go Sigma will maximize retail space in convenience stores and is expected to deliver ground gourmet coffee and brewed leaf tea in less than a minute.
Mark Rhodes, marketing manager at Westomatic said: “With the launch of the Coffee Tower and the Coffee2go Sigma there is now a high quality, yet simple to operate vending solution for independent and convenience retailers wanting to take advantage of the rapidly growing ‘coffee on the go’ sector. Both solutions dispense 9oz or the highly popular 12oz drinks, in retail style paper cups, complete with ‘coffee to go’ sip lids.
“We have proof that operators can charge as much as £1.80 per 12oz cup, and with the Coffee2go Sigma capable of vending a market leading 415 12oz cups, it doesn’t take a genius to do the sums.”
The company informed that the Prelude Coffee Tower and Coffee2go Sigma are available through Westomatic’s nationwide network of approved distributors, who are all fully trained in the installation and operation of the machines.
