Targets long-term growth for Terlato brands in Canada

John Terlato, vice chairman of Terlato Wines International (TWI), has revealed that Mark Anthony Group (MAG) has been selected to represent TWI’s brands in Canada, across all provinces. Mark Anthony Group will market and distribute more than a dozen super-premium wine brands from the company's global portfolio.

MAG, founded by Anthony von Mandl in 1972 and head-quartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, is one of Canada’s key producers, importers and distributors of premium wines. Its ownership brands include Mission Hill Family Estate. MAG also represents and distributes other wine brands from around the world including Maison Louis Latour, Antinori Estates and Rodney Strong Wine Estates.

Terlato said: “Mark Anthony offers a strong brand building opportunity for us in Canada. It is a family owned company like ours, with four decades of experience forging strong partnerships with premium wine producers. They have also built and managed a robust sales and marketing team and have had tremendous success bringing great wines to Canadian wine consumers through retailers and restaurants alike.”

Anthony Von Mandl, chairman and CEO of MAG, said: “We offer Terlato Wines proven sales results and brand building expertise. Like the Terlato family, we understand all aspects of the wine business, as a grower, producer, importer and distributor. We are firmly committed to long-term growth for the Terlato brands in Canada.”

The brands of Terlato Wines that Mark Anthony will be importing include: Alderbrook, Chimney Rock, EPISODE, Glass Mountain, Hanna, Luke Donald Collection, Markham, Rutherford Hill, Sanford, Seven Daughters, Tangley Oaks, and Terlato Family Vineyards from California; Domaine Terlato & Chapoutier from Australia; the red Tuscan blend MAZZONI and Tiramisú, a liqueur from Italy.
