Tropicana introduces Trop50 Farmstand Apple

DBR Staff Writer Published 30 August 2010

Tropicana, the US division of PepsiCo which produces and markets fruit juices, has launched Tropicana Trop50 Farmstand Apple.

The new Trop50 Farmstand Apple flavor is available in 59-ounce containers for a suggested retail price of $3.59 starting in late August 2010.

The company claims that eight-ounce glass of Trop50 Farmstand Apple is a source of vitamin C, antioxidant vitamin E and consists of stevia-based sweetener known as PureVia.

Trop50 juice beverage flavors include Pomegranate Blueberry, Pineapple Mango and the Orange offering. Trop50 Orange is available in several varieties, including No Pulp, Some Pulp and No Pulp Calcium & Vitamin D.

Tropicana vice president of marketing Memo Maquivar said that the taste of Trop50 Farmstand Apple doesn't fall far from the apple tree.

It delivers the delicious taste of orchard-ripened apples that consumers crave with less sugar and calories than apple juice, to help you look and feel good without sacrificing enjoyment,” Maquivar said.
