TNI Renames Tahitian Noni Juice
Tahitian Noni International (TNI) has changed the name of its product, Tahitian Noni Juice, which will now be called Tahitian Noni Original Bioactive Beverage.
The company said that despite the change of name, Tahitian Noni Original is the same bioactive beverage, and the name change comes from the fact that science has now proven that noni is more than a superfruit.
The company claims that bioactive beverages offer more benefits than fruit juices or even those classified as superfruits, and Tahtian Noni Original contains 150 diverse phytonutrients including 13 different types of iridoids from noni and blueberry, and is also supported by 14 human clinical studies proving its efficacy.
According to TNI, iridoids have been scientifically proven to eliminate harmful free radicals, maintain healthy HDL cholesterol at existing normal levels, boost energy, promote heart health, strengthen the immune system, support DNA and healthy brain activity.
Jeff Wasden, vice president of global marketing for TNI, said: Tahitian Noni Juice has always been a bioactive beverage. We've now changed the name to reflect what the product really is.
The company also said that Tahitian Noni Original will have a new appearance, now being released in a 750ml aluminum bottle, and a new 4l refrigerator pack known as the Quad.
The company further claims that the new packaging has a smaller carbon footprint than the standard bottle, and is recyclable. Tahitian Noni Original is among the five new bioactive beverages that will be released in the US in March.
