New Leaf strengthens distribution in California
New Leaf Brands, a New York-based provider of health beverages, has signed an agreement with Coast Brands Group, adding 17 new distributors in California.
These distributors serve the entire state trading with nearly 25,000 retail outlets including major retail grocery, convenience, gas, drug and club chain.
The company has set its target on chains such as Raley's, Gelson's, Bristol Farms, Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, Safeway, AM/PM, Circle K, 7-Eleven, among many others.
Service will also be offered to independent outlets such as bars, restaurants, pizzerias, hotels, venues, supermarkets, liquor stores, small/large independent stores and other retail establishments.
The 17 distributors will market and sell New Leaf's 11 tea flavors, four lemonades and two diet iced teas, which is said to be sweetened with Splenda.
New Leaf president and CEO Eric Skae said that in 2 short months, Coast Brands has executed on its marketing plan for statewide expansion in California for New Leaf beverages.
“We have sampled New Leaf's 17 beverage flavors to several of the most well know retailers in the West with very positive results,” Skae said.
Coast Brands Group founder Bob Groux said that New Leaf's line-up of healthy ready to drink teas and lemonades are an immediate success and should gain popularity and loyalty from customers.
“We are signing up new retail accounts daily to offer the great tasting beverages of New Leaf,Groux said.
