Coors Light rolls out Silver Bullet Aluminum Pint in Alumi-Tek bottles
Coors Brewing Company, a North American brewing wing of Molson Coors, in partnership with Ball Corporation, will introduce new 16oz resealable Silver Bullet Aluminum Pint in Alumi-Tek bottles for Coors Light beer on 1 September.
Coors Brewing Company vice president of Coors family of brands Rick Gomez said that the new Silver Bullet Aluminum Pint, strengthens Coors Light's position in the market.
The thermochromic graphics printed on the bottle provide the Cold Activated technology which allows consumers to know if a beer is cold before they purchase it.
The brewing company said that the bottle is portable, and features a resealable twist off, unbreakable and recyclable cap with wide mouth opening.
The Alumi-Tek bottle, which is light in weight, can also be used for a range of non-alcoholic beverages and beverages requiring retort processing, claims Ball Corporation.
The Coors Light Silver Bullet bottle represents a great opportunity for us. We're going to really leverage the Silver Bullet bottle to gain incremental distribution, Gomez said.
Ball Corporation is a supplier of packaging for beverage, food and household products customers, and of aerospace and other technologies and services, primarily for the US government.
The packaging company manufactures both 12oz and 16oz bottles at its plant in Monticello, Indiana.
