Black Art Bolsters Sales, Distribution Capabilities

DBR Staff Writer Published 07 March 2010

Black Art Beverage has entered into a contract with MWH Services of New York for licensing, logistics and warehousing in all 50 states. The company also said that it has received the necessary label approval for the State of New York and will be shipping product by the end of March.

Black Art Beer will be available for retail distribution at Sclafani Beer and Soda of Brooklyn, New York as its first distributor in New York State.

Mike Coffman, COO of Black Art Beverage, said: Working with MWH as our partner extends our distribution and sales capabilities to every state. MWH carries the required licenses in every state, and by partnering with MWH, the timely and costly task of securing license, label and bond approvals in each state is done. Further, MWH will become the logistic arm of our business as they will receive, ship and warehouse our product for our distribution links.

“We are very excited about the platform we can build with MWH and the sales that will be generated from being able to supply product to all regions. Under the MHW state licenses, Black Art Beer will achieve maximum geographic coverage in a minimal amount of time.

Black Art Beer is produced in Germany and exported to the US exclusively through Black Art Importers, a Florida based wholly owned subsidiary of Black Art Beverages, engaged in the business of distributing the Black Art brand. The company's current products include Black Art beer and Black Art Gold. The company is also going to launch other styles in future.

Black Art Lager beers are brewed and bottled by Braustolz in Germany. Braustolz has been in operation since 1868, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of a Brewery Group headed by Kulmbacher Brewery based in Germany.
