Baristas opens new franchise in Texas
Baristas Coffee Company, an international coffee maker headquartered in the US, has opened The Costume Coffee drive-thru, a first franchise in Texas.
According to the company, the newly opened franchise is located at 12023 Perrin Beitel Road, San Antonio, Texas.
The unit will serve specialty coffees, top quality smoothies, fresh baked pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and other confections.
Baristas' move to begin a new location at San Antonio was made in relation to development franchise agreement with Jag Capital that includes San Antonio San Marcos, and New Braunfels areas.
The agreement to open 10 locations over the next three years has an option for 20 additional locations within the territory over the next eight years. Remodeling, permitting, and staffing required to open was accomplished in less than 45 days from the signing of the lease.
Baristas and FMP COO veteran restaurant executive Thomas E Metzger said now that the company has its first franchise open for business and have built support infrastructure, it is pursuing other viable territory partners and franchise operators.
"We are very proud of the accomplishments of Jag Capital in that they opened a first class Baristas Drive-Thru Coffee Stand in such a short period of time," Metzger added.
