Bacardi Lion Appoints BMF and Zenith Optimedia

BMF as creative agency and Zenith Optimedia as media planning agency


Alcoholic drinks company Bacardi Lion, a joint venture between Bacardi Martini and Lion Nathan, has appointed Zenith Optimedia as its media planning and buying agency and BMF as its creative agency, reported bandt.com.

BMF and Zenith Optimedia are expected to handle a set of drinks brands, which include Grey Goose Vodka, Dewar’s Scotch, Bacardi Superior, Bombay Sapphire Gin McKenna Bourbon, 42 Below and Bacardi Breezer.

Colin Rochester, managing director of Bacardi Lion, said: “As a growing business, we are confident that the skills, experience and capabilities of both Zenith Optimedia and BMF will best suit our needs across the differing requirements of brands within our portfolio.”

Between May 2008 and April 2009, as per Nielsen AIS, the company on main media has spent $4.05m.
