Bacardi introduces new coconut flavored rum
Bacardi, a privately held international spirits company, has launched a new flavor of rum called Rock Coconut, which is infused with rock melon and coconut water.
Bacardi Rock Coconut joins the company's other flavored rums such as Limon, Torched Cherry, O, Coconut; Razz; Big Apple; Grand Melon; Peach Red; and Dragon Berry.
Bacardi flavored rums brand director Gordon Chisholm said that the company's flavored rums is committed to providing consumers with new and exciting flavor combinations that consist of unique ingredients with dynamic tastes.
Bacardi Rock Coconut comes at a suggested retail price of $13.99 for a 750ml bottle, and has 35% alcohol-by-volume. The rum will also be available in 50ml, 200ml, 275ml, 1 liter and 1.75 liter sizes.
Bacardi Rock Coconut will be available beginning in November 2010. The launch will be supported nationally with print advertising, trade advertising, digital, out-of-home, on and off-premise POS and public relations.
